My Story

Roger Dietrich has spent almost three decades as a career prosecutor. His knowledge of the legal system, along with his interactions with law enforcement and the individuals charged with breaking the law, form the basis for his novels. He is also a semi-professional musician, playing the harmonica for a band that plays at events on both sides of the Canadian/American border.

Dietrich grew up in Toronto, Ontario, and was drafted for the Toronto Argos, although he never played. Boxing has always been a part of his life, and he continues to train as a boxer and referee in matches.

Currently, he is working on a second legal drama as well as his Ph.D. thesis, which focuses on the Nuremberg Trials, the first international war crimes tribunal in history which revealed the true extent of German atrocities and held some of the most prominent Nazis accountable for their crimes. A man of many interests, Dietrich is also learning to speak Farsi.
